Associate - Debt Advisory & Restructuring

They are seeking a high‑performing finance professional with a strong track record executing complex financing and restructuring transactions from end to end.

As an Associate, you will take a central role across the full lifecycle of debt advisory and restructuring mandates. You will work closely with senior leadership and clients, leading analytical workstreams, building and reviewing advanced financial models, and shaping strategic recommendations for high‑stakes situations. This is a fast‑paced, execution‑heavy role suited to individuals who thrive in intellectually demanding, deal‑intensive environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of debt advisory and restructuring mandates across the full transaction lifecycle
• Develop, review, and stress‑test complex financial models for refinancing, liability management, capital structure optimisation, and restructuring scenarios
• Prepare and deliver pitch materials, lender presentations, information memoranda, and restructuring analyses
• Coordinate legal, financial, and operational due diligence with external advisors and internal stakeholders
• Manage client and counterparty interactions, including lenders, investors, legal counsel, and senior executives
• Leverage AI‑enabled tools to enhance research depth, modelling efficiency, and workflow quality

Key Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring advisory, leveraged finance, or special situations at a top‑tier institution
• Strong academic background from a leading university; MBA or CFA is advantageous
• Demonstrated experience executing debt financing, refinancing, or restructuring transactions
• Exceptional financial modelling and valuation capabilities
• Comfortable using AI‑powered analytics and modern research tools
