Rooted in Omani culture and globally recognized for excellence, we are currently seeking an Associate Director – Treasury & Corporate Finance to join us in Muscat, Oman.

Your Mission
The Associate Director Treasury & Corporate Finance is responsible for establishing and managing the Treasury operations and laying the foundation for Corp Finance. The role in initial phase involves hands-on management of day-to-day operational liquidity, financing facilities, banking relationships, working capital requirements, fund placements to optimize returns, FX and related risks working in conjunction with FPA and Reporting function. The role will also be required to develop, manage and execute plans for financing/funding requirements in-line with the Rolling Five-Year Plans for the business.
Your Impact
The roles and responsibilities of the AD Treasury & Corp. Finance shall include but not be limited to the
following categorized under the following headings:
Treasury Management:
- Develop and maintain periodic entity-wise and consolidated cashflow forecast, ensuring visibility and availability of liquidity positions.
- Design and implement cash pooling structures, intercompany funds, transfer mechanisms to optimise group-wide cash utilization.
- Monitor and manage bank balances to ensure adequate operational liquidity while minimizing idle cash holdings across all group entities.
- Coordination with FP&A and Accounts Teams to align cashflow forecasts with business plans, investment and capex schedules and seasonal demand cycles.
- Establish and maintain cash management policies and procedures governing fund movements, approvals and reporting thresholds.
Banking & Financing Management:
- Manage, optimize and diversify banking relationships across all entities while serving as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective financing partners.
- Manage, plan and op7mize financing products depending on growing and evolving business requirements.
- Efficiently manage utilization of facilities while ensuring reliable implementation of operational and investment plans.
- Monitor and manage interest rate risk exposure across all financing facilities, ensure proactive approach to adverse movement in financing costs.
- Continuously assess the market for new financing products and structures, evaluate their relevance and present proposals with cost-benefit analysis for the company at each stage of growth.
- Ensure all banking covenants and facility conditions across all financing facilities working capital
and/or asset financing are monitored and adhered to, with timely escalations of any potential
breaches.
Working Capital Management:
- Develop and maintain a consolidated working capital dashboard tracking key KPIs across all entities and liaison with functional departments to impact change where needed.
- Maintain close liaison with cross-functional teams to plan and implement approved changes
- Research and compile industry benchmarks and peer performance comparisons
- Model working-capital impact of new go-to-market plans, induction of new supplier and customers or change in existing terms.
- Present working capital performance, CCC trends and improvements clearly linking to positive impact on cashflow and financing requirments.
Investment Management:
- Develop and maintain a corporate investment policy for idle liquidity balancing return optimization with capital preservation and timely cash requirements
- Identify and evaluate low-risk investment opportunities (e.g. money market instruments, short-term fixed deposits, government securities, etc.) aligned with company's risk appetite and cashflow needs
- Monitor investment portfolio performance, maturity schedules and counter-party risk, ensuring
funds remain available for operational growth and planned investments.
Compliance, Governance & Risk Management:
- Ensure full compliance with treasury-related regulatory requirements, across all operating
jurisdictions, including capital controls, anti-money laundry (AML) and sanctions screening
- Identify, evaluate and manage treasury-related corporate insurance programs, with primary focus on trade credit, fidelity, etc.
- Conduct periodic review of insurance coverage and alignment for compliance on financing covenants in conjunction with function leader
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors on treasury-related audit procedures and disclosures.
- Maintain and update treasury policies and procedures in-line with evolving business needs and regulatory changes.
Process Improvement & Technology Systems
- Evaluate and adapt treasury management systems or modules within the existing ERP to automate processes, streamline reporting and ensuring reliable controls.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies across the treasury function contributing to broader organizational goals of operational excellence
- Evaluate cybersecurity controls, data protection measures, and business continuity plans.
Your Expertise
- Treasury & Cash Management: Hands-on experience in cashflow forecasting, liquidity management, fund-placement and cash pooling across multinational structures for optimize returns.
- Banking and Financing Products: Proven track record in managing banking relationships, arranging and managing funding/financing intiatives/facilities and related tendering processes.
- Working Capital Management: Strong understanding of working capital cycles.
- Risk Management: Familiarity with treasury-adjacent insurance programs including evaluation, placement and renewal processes.
- Cross functional collaboration: Strong communication and maintaining effective working relationships with internal functions and external partners.
- Bachelor's in accounting, Finance or Economics from accredited University (Masters a plus)
- Professional qualification in treasury or finance (ACT, CTP , CIMA, ACA, FCA or CFA preferred)
- 7 - 9 years of treasury experience, with min. 4 years in a multination or group treasury environment managing financing facilities, multiple currencies and entities
- Proficiency in ERP systems and awareness of treasury management tools
- High integrity, discretion, and attantion to detail with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent analytical, abend to details and communication skills.
