Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Associate Interior Designer with a strong background in hospitality and high-end residential projects within the UAE.
This is a senior, client-facing role requiring a well-rounded professional who can lead projects from concept to completion, combining strong design sensibility with technical expertise and coordination capabilities. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable developing creative concepts and managing detailed design delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Lead the development of interior design concepts for luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects
- Translate client briefs into innovative, functional, and aesthetically refined design solutions
- Oversee design development from concept through to detailed design and documentation
Project Delivery (End-to-End)
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence
- Review and approve drawings, specifications, materials, and finishes
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project stages, including construction
Coordination & Technical Delivery
- Lead coordination with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure all design packages are fully coordinated and technically compliant
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Present design concepts and progress updates confidently
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior designers and support team development
- Oversee internal design workflows and ensure high-quality deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum 15+ years of experience, with a strong portfolio in hospitality and high-end residential projects
- Proven experience working in the UAE market
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from concept through construction
- Strong experience in design coordination and technical detailing
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, etc.)
