Investment & Development office of Ras Al Khaimah
The role spans two mandates: optimizing the performance of the existing portfolio, and executing M&A transactions at the IDO or portfolio-company level. The Associate owns the underlying analytics and, on transactions, helps drive the process end to end.
Portfolio Management
Under The Direction Of The Investment Directors And VPs
- Build the analytical basis for performance-improvement initiatives, then work alongside VPs and Directors through implementation to materialize the impact.
- Conduct industry and company research for portfolio reviews and Investment Committee purposes.
- Consolidate management and operational information from OpCos per the prescribed reporting templates, and contribute to IC and PRC document preparation and presentation.
- Interface with portfolio-company management and third-party advisors.
Investment
- Execute M&A transactions at the IDO or portfolio-company level: lead the process, coordinate workstreams, and manage third-party advisors through to completion.
- Build full financial models, projections, and valuations to support each transaction.
- Conduct industry and company research for in-house due diligence and initial Investment Committee review.
- Follow up on the commercial and financial due diligence undertaken by third-party advisors.
Rating Support
- Provide periodic support to the Rating department with analysis and commentary on RAK Government financial performance.
- Address rating queries promptly and provide the support needed for submission to the agencies.
