JOB PURPOSE:
Associate Manager – Enterprise Applications is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the enterprise applications, including ensuring their reliability, stability, and security. The role has good understanding of the ERP (Oracle), particularly Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, Integration tool, as well as other business applications used within the company. The role guides the Application Specialists that has specific responsibility for developing, configuring, maintaining, enhancing, and eventually decommissioning applications through their life cycle.
Key Applications include ERP, WMS, BI and Middleware. Internally developed applications include costing module, material transactions module, BI reports and Dashboards, WMS operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage the operations of the enterprise applications portfolio, including incident management, problem management, change management, and continuous improvement
- Lead the implementation of new enterprise applications and integration with existing systems and processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the applications meet their needs
- Define and enhance methodologies and practices for the application life cycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement
- Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Ensure that applications processes (including those of external service providers) are conducted in line with corporate standards and technical policies
- Support and guide the application group personnel in developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization, as well as building on existing recruiting capabilities to address new needs and skills gaps
- Implement and manage application life cycle management status reporting, metrics and benchmarks
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service level agreements
- Undertaken and/review the assessment of the technical and business fit, ROI of the application portfolio and their associated costs and risks
- Working with the Infra Team to ensure that the organization's applications are effectively secured and that risks are mitigated
- Plan, design and test Disaster Recovery Procedure for Enterprise Application Systems to support business continuity, minimize risk and lost when needed
- Manage projects by working with cross-functional teams, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/ engineering/ Information Systems, or related field
- The following experience is considered essential:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise applications management and operations, with at least 1 years in a managerial position
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle Financials

- Strong understanding of Oracle enterprise application architecture, security, and integration
- Financial accounting and reporting practices applicable to applications, costs and risks
- IT contracts and their likely cost implications
- Engagement with procurement and legal contract advisors
- Data processing, analysis, and quality management tools
- Development and implementation of processes and policies
- Experience with cloud computing, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
