Job Summary:
The Associate Manager - Project Manager is responsible to establish, lead, and mature the Project Management Office within the Enabling Services. This role is responsible for driving project governance, portfolio oversight, and delivery excellence across all department initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and Vision 2030 objectives. focusing on deep expertise in PMO frameworks, project lifecycle management, and executive reporting. will be responsible for standardizing project management methodologies, managing cross-functional dependencies, tracking portfolio performance, and providing data-driven insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
Key Accountabilities:
- Establish, implement, and continuously refine PMO governance frameworks, project management standards, and delivery methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile) to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with organizational objectives across all Enabling Services initiatives
- Own end-to-end project portfolio management, including project prioritization, resource allocation, capacity planning, dependency mapping, and portfolio-level risk and issue management across all department projects
- Design and deliver executive dashboards, periodic status reports, and data-driven performance analytics to senior leadership and the CEO, enabling informed strategic decision-making on project health, schedule adherence, and budget utilization
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking for major department initiatives, proactively identifying schedule deviations, scope changes, and escalation triggers to maintain delivery timelines
- Develop and maintain project budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control across the project portfolio
- Drive PMO maturity and continuous improvement by conducting post-project reviews, capturing lessons learned, benchmarking against industry best practices, and implementing process enhancements to elevate delivery capabilities
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management, PMO Methodologies, Data & Reporting or other relevant fields
Languages:
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
