Job Overview

We're looking for an Associate Merchandise Planner to support our Planning team in driving data-led decisions and optimizing performance across categories. This role is perfect for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the full merchandise planning process within a fast-paced, innovative luxury retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end merchandise planning cycle across assigned categories, ensuring smooth execution of planning activities.
  • Assist in weekly department performance reviews to identify risks and opportunities, and provide data insights that inform commercial meetings.
  • Support the development of recommendations for continuity and seasonal reorders, aligned with Open-to-Buy (OTB) requirements.
  • Contribute to MSSI reforecasting, OTB, and budgeting processes by analyzing trade data and performance trends.
  • Assist in preparing markdown proposals for promotions and End of Season Sale (EOSS) actions, in line with business objectives and brand direction.
  • Collaborate closely with planners and buyers to ensure stock levels and assortment strategies meet business goals.
  • Provide support to junior members of the planning team, encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to evolving merchandise planning systems, tools, and best practices at Ounass.
  • Exposure to MSSI, OTB forecasting, and budgeting processes, with the ability to contribute insights that support decision-making.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, thriving in a team-oriented and cross-functional environment.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Someone coming with 2-4 years of experience.
