Role Description This full-time, on-site Associate Professor in Finance role at Plekhanov University is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in finance and related disciplines, preparing and delivering lectures, seminars, and workshops, and developing course materials and assessments aligned with program objectives. The Associate Professor will conduct original research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and present findings at academic conferences. Responsibilities include supervising student projects and theses, mentoring students, participating in curriculum development and accreditation activities, and contributing to departmental and university committees. The role also entails engaging with industry partners, supporting collaborative projects, and promoting the university's academic reputation in the region.
Qualifications

Strong expertise in Finance and Corporate Finance, with a record of teaching and scholarship in these areas.
Solid foundation in Economics, with the ability to integrate economic theory into finance courses and research.
Proficiency in Accounting concepts relevant to financial analysis and corporate decision-making.
Demonstrated Research skills, including quantitative and/or qualitative methods, academic publishing, and conference presentations.
Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a closely related field.
Prior university-level teaching experience, with evidence of effective pedagogy and curriculum development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an asset.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, international academic environment and to mentor students from varied backgrounds.
Experience with modern teaching technologies, learning management systems, and innovative instructional methods.
Evidence of ongoing professional development and engagement with industry or professional associations in finance or economics.
