About Our Client — Toorak Capital Partners

You will be part of a dedicated engineering team supporting Toorak Capital Partners, a leading U.S.-based integrated correspondent lending platform that funds residential, multifamily, and mixed-use real estate loans across the U.S. and U.K. Headquartered in Summit, New Jersey, Toorak's leadership team brings deep expertise across real estate lending, capital markets, securitization, asset management, and credit. Project Manager

Not Just Another PM Role

This isn't a seat for someone who wants to sit in status meetings and update trackers. We need a hands-on delivery driver who can own a workstream, keep momentum, and grow into bigger calls

The Mission

Own the end-to-end delivery of focused tech initiatives — across web applications, APIs, and internal platforms — from sprint kickoff to production release. You're not just tracking tasks. You're the glue that keeps engineering, product, and QA moving together.

What You'll Drive

  • Run the delivery rhythm — sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives — with consistency and ownership.
  • Support cross-functional squads through full-SDLC cycles: design, build, test, deploy, ship.
  • Spot risks early — flag dependencies, escalate blockers, and help drive mitigation before they snowball.
  • Translate technical updates into clear, audience-ready summaries — from engineering syncs to stakeholder updates.
  • Track the metrics — monitor velocity, sprint health, and delivery gaps, and flag trends to leadership.
  • Keep the backlog organized — every open item has an owner, a status, and a next step.
  • Partner with senior PMs and leadership on trade-off calls and prioritization.

What You Bring

  • 3–4 years owning or co-owning tech delivery in fast-paced environments.
  • Working knowledge of Agile — Scrum, Kanban, sprint execution — with hands-on experience running ceremonies.
  • Experience supporting delivery of web applications, APIs, or operational tools from kickoff to production.
  • A growing ability to align engineers, designers, and product owners around a shared outcome, even without direct authority.
  • Clear communication — you can turn delivery details into something crisp and easy to follow.
  • Curiosity about AI-driven process improvements — genuine interest in exploring how delivery can work smarter, not just get reported faster.
  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems — or equivalent practical experience.

Bonus Points

  • CSM or equivalent Scrum Master / Project Manager certification.
  • Exposure to fintech, mortgage tech, or regulated financial services.

Why This Role Will Challenge You

You won't just be updating trackers. You'll be learning to manage outcomes — in an environment where priorities shift and the bar keeps rising. If you're eager to grow from running sprints to owning outcomes, this is where that journey starts.

Only Immediate Joiners can apply. Candidates who are currently serving their notice period with 15 days or less remaining are also eligible to apply.
