As a
Solutions Engineer at
Reno Systems, you will play a key role in supporting our development and operations teams. This is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates who are motivated to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be an integral part of our IT services and system integration team, contributing to the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and deploy enterprise systems on Linux and containerized environments, including host preparation (packages, networking, security) and automation-based deployments.
- Set up and maintain distributed clusters and high-availability environments to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Configure and validate data ingestion pipelines (logs, metrics, routing rules, transformations, and data-quality checks).
- Deploy and manage large-scale data storage and retention layers, enabling efficient ingestion, indexing, and retrieval of high-volume datasets.
- Support analytical layers including query engines, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting views; assist in performance tuning for monitoring and analytics workloads.
- Deploy and troubleshoot cloud-based workloads (access control, connectivity, resource provisioning).
- Provide post-deployment and production support, handling incidents, performance issues, and customer requests.
- Maintain accurate documentation (deployment guides, runbooks, technical notes) and contribute to improving internal playbooks and standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on project delivery, assist during deployment and UAT, and support operational handovers.
- Participate in continuous learning, internal training, and knowledge sharing to build long-term expertise.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Linux systems and interest in working with production environments.
- Familiarity with containers, cloud, or automation concepts (academic or hands-on).
- Understanding of distributed systems or modern application architectures.
- Exposure to monitoring, logging, or data platforms is a plus.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- AWS solutions architect certification or equivalent exposure.
- Linux Foundation certification.
- Exposure to tools and technologies such as OpenTelemetry, Splunk.
