About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and driven Assurance Lead to oversee sustainability assurance and GHG verification projects. This role will lead the assurance team, ensure project delivery excellence, and act as the primary interface with key stakeholders and privatized companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for project performance and successful delivery.
- Plan, organize, and manage the assurance program, ensuring effective execution.
- Lead and coordinate the work of assurance practitioners and verifiers.
- Review, validate, and deliver assurance and verification reports in line with scope requirements.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to assurance processes.
- Propose and discuss modifications to assurance programs where required.
- Ensure project progress remains aligned with agreed timelines and objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability assurance, including GHG verification.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Assurance Lead or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, ESG reporting, and verification standards.
- Proven experience working with energy sector clients is highly desirable.
