Role Overview
The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making by analyzing market trends, conducting financial modelling and providing insights that contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of market trends, and key financial metrics.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports for management, providing insights into the company's financial health and performance.
- Stay informed about global financial markets, economic indicators, and geopolitical events that may impact trading activities.
- Utilize market research to develop financial forecasts and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to assess and analyze potential risks associated with financial transactions and market fluctuations.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and optimize trading outcomes.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate potential investment opportunities, assess trading strategies and analyze the impact on overall financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments to company processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, and IT, to gather necessary data and insights for informed decision-making.
- Present financial analyses and reports to senior management, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices within the financial analysis function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.
- Native Arabic speaker, and fluent in English.
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools.
- In-depth knowledge of global financial markets, and economic indicators.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
