Audio Data Contributor- Gulf Arabic Speakers

Position: Gulf Arabic Audio Data Contributor (Adults)

Project Location: Qatar (Remote)

DataForce by TransPerfect is currently looking for native Gulf Arabic speakers, both adults and children, to participate in our Zaatar Speech Collection project.

Task Description:

The purpose of this project is to improve the functionality of Arabic voice recognition technologies used in educational platforms.

For this project, each participant, adult or minor, will need to record a series of sentences in Arabic, using our mobile application, DataForce Contribute. The selected candidates will be provided with the project guidelines, the scripts that need to be read, and instructions on how to download and use our app.

Eligibility:

To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria:

- Be over 18 years old.

- Have a smartphone device to download our app and use it for recording.

- Native speaker of Arabic with Gulf accent, located in Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia or Oman.

Children (to be registered separately):

- Be 7 to 17 years old

- Native speakers of Gulf Arabic.

Compensation:

Adults: $27 USD

Children aged 7 to 17 years: $45 USD
