As an AV Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, integrating, testing, and overseeing the installation of Audio-Visual systems across complex projects. About Your Team

You will work closely with subcontractors, consultants, MEP, ICT, ELV teams, manufacturers, and technology specialists to coordinate AV installations, integration, testing, and technical delivery.

Your Role

As an AV Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing AV systems, including audio, video, control, signal flow, and equipment layouts
• Preparing and reviewing schematics, connection drawings, and technical documentation
• Reviewing equipment selections, vendor proposals, and compliance requirements
• Overseeing installations, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Coordinating AV integration with MEP, ICT, ELV, and network systems
• Supporting AV-over-IP solutions and control systems
• Providing technical support to site teams and resolving installation challenges

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in AV system design, integration, commissioning, and technical support
• Strong experience in construction and high-end fit-out projects, particularly museums, theming, exhibitions, immersive experiences, or hospitality
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an appropriate discipline, or equivalent experience

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of AV systems, DSP, displays, control systems, and system integration
• Understanding of AV-over-IP, networking, and ELV/MEP integration
• Strong technical coordination and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with AV design, acoustic analysis, and technical documentation
• AVIXA CTS preferred, with CTS-D or CTS-I an advantage
• Manufacturer certifications such as Dante, Q-SYS, or Crestron are an advantage
