Audit Analytics & Continuous Auditing

About the Role

Conduct data analysis utilizing the department's various computer software packages within established deadlines, in order to identify and report irregularities and enhance the audit results. Implement continuous auditing approach. Enhancing audit effectiveness through automation, data analytics, and control optimization while ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis utilizing the department's various computer software packages within established deadlines, in order to identify and report irregularities and enhance the audit results.
• Implement continuous auditing approach.
• Enhancing audit effectiveness through automation, data analytics, and control optimization while ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Identify data analytics opportunities, designs, and executes test, data extraction, and analysis utilizing the department's various computer software packages within established deadlines.
• Collaborate with colleagues across IAD, business areas, information technology, and risk management teams to identify relevant data analytics, data visualization, and continuous auditing/monitoring opportunities.
• Creates, prepares, and documents detailed specifications of data extraction including creation and use of documents to facilitate the request and data integrity of the data that is required to execute analysis objectives.
• Knowledge of applications within the bank to interpret data requests and identify data analytics opportunities.
• Automate and schedule ACL scripts to facilitate continuous monitoring.
• Provide technical assistance to maintain data analysis tools (ACL).
• Prepare Data Analysis Result Report to communicate identified issues to management.
• Perform data validation checks to increase accuracy and integrity of data and output produced.
• Develop and implement a continuous auditing program to monitor the corrective actions taken against the identified findings.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of continuous auditing and analytics initiatives.
• Provide additional management information which can be used to drive efficiencies in the monitored process.
• Perform continuous risk monitoring, including the monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) on a continuous basis.
• Ensure secure and efficient access to internal and external data sources for audit purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science or a related field.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Data Analysis.
• Practiced Knowledge in data analytics tools (Tableau, ACL, SQL, or Power BI).
