Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our External Audit firm in Dubai. This leadership role is responsible for managing a portfolio of audit engagements, leading high-performing teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the strategic growth of the audit practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive external audit experience gained within a reputable audit firm, hold a CPA or CA qualification, and demonstrate a proven track record of managing complex engagements and developing teams.

· Lead and oversee the planning, execution, completion, and reporting of external audit engagements across diverse industries.

· Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously while ensuring compliance with IFRS, ISA, and applicable UAE regulations.

· Review and approve audit strategies, risk assessments, materiality calculations, and engagement deliverables.

· Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and auditing matters.

· Monitor engagement budgets, profitability, timelines, and resource allocation.

· Manage large-scale audit engagements, including listed entities and regulated organizations.

· Review audit reports, management letters, and presentations for senior management and boards.

· Ensure high-quality documentation and compliance with firm methodologies and quality standards.

· Oversee audits involving consolidations, complex estimates, financial instruments, and group reporting.

· Drive the adoption of data analytics and technology-enabled audit procedures.

· Lead, coach, and mentor audit teams, including Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Associates.

· Conduct performance evaluations and support career development initiatives.

· Deliver technical training sessions and contribute to knowledge-sharing programs.

· Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

· Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Finance Directors, Audit Committees, and Board members.

· Manage key client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

· Identify cross-selling opportunities and support proposal preparation and business development activities.

· Contribute to client retention and growth strategies.

· Ensure compliance with independence requirements, ethical standards, and quality control policies.

· Participate in internal and external quality reviews.

· Stay updated on IFRS, ISA, and UAE regulatory developments.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Active CPA or CA certification is mandatory.

· Audit Manager: Minimum 8–10 years of external audit experience.

· Experience managing audit portfolios and leading teams within a public accounting firm.

· Experience with listed entities and regulated sectors (UAE Central Bank, SCA, DFSA, ADGM) is advantageous.

· Advanced knowledge of IFRS and ISA.

· Proficiency in CaseWare, TeamMate, or equivalent audit software.

· Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

· Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.

· Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, IDEA, or ACL is preferred.

· Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

· Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
