Autocad Designer

The Client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preparing technical drawings for glass, aluminium, mirror, façade, partition, door, window, and related architectural systems. The candidate must be well-versed in AutoCAD, familiar with aluminium profiles and systems commonly used in Dubai market, and capable of coordinating directly with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for glass, aluminium, and mirror works. • Develop technical drawings for doors, windows, partitions, curtain walls, shower enclosures, balustrades, mirrors, slim systems, sliding systems, and other architectural glazing solutions. • Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and BOQs to ensure design compliance. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, site engineers, project managers, and production teams regarding design requirements and technical clarifications. • Attend meetings when required and communicate directly with clients to discuss design details and project requirements. • Prepare material take-offs and profile schedules based on approved drawings. • Ensure drawings are produced in accordance with Dubai industry standards, project specifications, and company requirements. • Revise and update drawings based on client comments, consultant feedback, and site conditions. • Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution. • Maintain proper documentation and drawing records throughout the project lifecycle. • Assist in identifying suitable aluminium profiles, hardware, and glass specifications for various applications. ge.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in the glass and aluminium industry.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Strong knowledge of aluminium profiles, glazing systems, architectural hardware, and fabrication methods used in Dubai market.

• Experience preparing shop drawings for aluminium doors, windows, partitions, curtain walls, and glazing systems.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings. • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to coordinate directly with clients and consultants in a professional manner.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills: • Experience with slim systems, acoustic systems, sliding systems, synchronized systems, telescopic systems, curtain wall systems, and bespoke glazing solutions. • Understanding of fabrication and installation processes for glass and aluminium works. • Experience working in a fast-paced project environment. • Ability to independently manage design coordination from project initiation to final approval.
