Job Title: AutoCAD Draftsman – Building Construction

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman with a strong background in building construction and contracting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, coordinating with engineers and project teams, and ensuring all drawings comply with project specifications and local authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction details.
- Revise drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Review project specifications and construction documents.
- Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations and company standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.
- Support the project team throughout the construction process by providing technical drafting assistance.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman in a building construction/contracting company.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of Revit is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and construction standards is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Building construction projects (Residential, Commercial, and Industrial).
- Preparation of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and quantity take-offs.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
