Role Description The Autocad Draftsman – Fitout will be responsible for preparing detailed fit-out drawings and documentation for interior projects, including layouts, sections, and elevations. Day-to-day tasks include converting design concepts into accurate technical drawings, producing shop drawings for joinery and fit-out elements, and coordinating with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and local regulations. The role also involves updating drawings based on site measurements and feedback, maintaining organized drawing files, and supporting the project team with timely revisions. This is a contract, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, working closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors to deliver high-quality fit-out solutions.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing to produce precise, detailed plans for fit-out projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Shop Drawings to prepare coordinated and construction-ready drawings for joinery and interior fit-out works.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architectural Drawings and Architecture to interpret design intent and align technical details with architectural standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software, with experience in interior fit-out or joinery drafting.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, fit-out standards, and basic construction methods, particularly in commercial and residential interiors.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret design and MEP drawings, and capability to work to deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Previous on-site experience in Dubai or the wider UAE fit-out industry is highly beneficial.
