We are looking for a highly skilled and career-driven 2d AutoCAD Draftsman with solid experience in aluminum and glass detailing. What You'll Do:
- Create accurate detailed shop drawings for all types of Wooden, aluminum and glass works & Marble, Porcelains works or any other elements in Interior Design.
- Prepare fabrication and installation drawings from architectural and structural layouts or site surveys.
- Integrate site measurements into technical drawings
- Generate BOQs and material take-offs as required
- Coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to align design with actual site conditions
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback and site progress
- Maintain clean version control and drawing documentation standards
What You Bring:
- Total of 5+ years of Drafting experience including Minimum 3 year of hands-on drafting experience specifically in Wooden, aluminum and glass systems (This is non-negotiable)
- Strong command of AutoCAD (2D is a must; 3D knowledge is a plus)
- Experience with miscellaneous brands hardware & items like Conceal Doors, Wardrobes, bifolding doors, curtain walls, partitions, villa projects, apartments, etc.
- Deep understanding of glass & aluminum technical profiles, joinery, and accessories
- Strong eye for detail and accuracy to kickstart project.
- Good communication skills able to coordinate with production and site teams
- English proficiency (spoken and written)
- 3+ years of experience as a Furniture Draftsman or Joinery Draftsman, ideally in Dubai or the GCC
- Familiarity with materials such as wood, MDF, metal, acrylic, and upholstery
- Strong understanding of shop drawings, joinery details, and technical documentation
- Ability to interpret interior design plans and client sketches
- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical field is preferred
