As an Automation Developer II, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge automation solutions that streamline business processes and eliminate manual effort. Beyond traditional RPA, this role leverages Agentic AI capabilities—autonomous AI agents that plan, reason, and execute complex workflows across enterprise systems.

Sitting at the intersection of traditional software engineering and autonomous AI, you will work independently on moderately complex projects while contributing to advanced AI initiatives and mentoring junior talent.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Develop: Build and maintain high-performing automation workflows, custom Python scripts, and AI-powered agents.

Build Agentic Systems: Develop systems capable of multi-step task execution, autonomous reasoning, and adaptive decision-making.

Opportunity Identification: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities for AI-driven automation beyond traditional RPA limits.

Integration: Seamlessly connect automations with enterprise applications, RESTful APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and LLM services (e.g., Gemini, vector databases, orchestration frameworks).

Optimization & Debugging: Conduct code reviews, perform root-cause analysis on AI agent/workflow failures, and continuously optimize for speed and scalability.

Governance & Security: Ensure all solutions strictly align with security standards, regulatory compliance, and ethical AI guidelines.

Mentorship: Guide junior developers in traditional RPA best practices and introduce them to Agentic AI principles.

Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Programming Languages: Proficient in Python and knowledgeable in JavaScript. (C# experience is a plus).

Agentic AI & Gen AI: Hands-on experience building AI systems using Vertex AI, Gemini models, Agent Development Kit (ADK), or similar frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).

RPA Platforms: Demonstrated experience with UiPath and Power Automate.

API Development: Solid understanding of RESTful API architecture, authentication, and integration (ASP.NET Core or Python-based frameworks).

Version Control: Proficient with Git workflows (branching, merging, pull requests).

Debugging & Troubleshooting: Strong diagnostic skills for both front-end (browser dev tools) and back-end (Visual Studio / IDEs) environments.

Soft Skills & Education

Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant higher education preferred.

Language: Minimum B2 level English fluency (written and spoken).

Collaboration: Strong written/verbal communication skills to articulate technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).

Nice-to-Have

Exposure to cloud services (GCP or Microsoft Azure—Azure Functions, App Services, SQL, AKS).
