Sr Automation Engineer (Mobile)- 6+ years
Location: Kochi/Bengaluru - Hybrid
Must Have Skills: Appium, Playwright/Cypress/Webdriverio using Javascript/Typescript
Role Overview
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be the subject matter expert for mobile testing, responsible for the end-to-end quality of our mobile applications. You will focus on building scalable automation solutions and providing guidance to the engineering team to ensure high-velocity delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Framework Development: Architect and maintaina reusable mobile automation framework using WebdriverIO and Appium.
- Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, conducting code reviews and sharing best practices for JavaScript automation.
- Sprint Execution: Target the automation of all critical (P1/P2) flows within the active sprint cycle.
- N+1 Strategy: Manage the automation backlog by ensuring any pending scenarios from the current sprint are prioritized and completed by theN+1 sprint deadline.
- Platform Mastery:Ensure identical functionality and UI parity acrossiOSandAndroidplatforms through robust script design.
Required Experience
- 4 -8yearsof professional experience in mobile application automation.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and hands-on experience with WebdriverIO and Appium.
- Strong understanding of mobile-specific locators (Accessibility IDs, Predicates) and mobile UX standards.
