Job Description
Key Requirements for Automation Engineer
A qualified Diploma or Graduate Engineer in Electrical or Automation
At least 7 years of working experience with Marine/Offshore/Power Generation Industry.
Good knowledge of automation, PLC and other controllers for Marine, Offshore, Oil and Gas and Power generation.
Preference to be given to marine familiar automation engineer with sea going experience
Good knowledge of Propulsion systems and engines utility controls.
To have good knowledge and experience in various power management system and controls.
Good knowledge of class standards (ABS, DNV, LR etc) to handle class approvals for work shop and onboard scopes of upgrade and retrofit.
Fluent in English speaking and report writing (expected to have good communication abilities).
Ability to work well under pressure
Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Able to travel frequently.
