Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer – Automation to enhance our software quality through robust automated testing solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Selenium, Python, and BDD frameworks, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.

Mandatory Skills:

• Selenium WebDriver
• Python
• BDD Frameworks (Cucumber / Behave / SpecFlow or similar)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Python.
• Implement BDD approach for test scenarios using tools like Cucumber or Behave.
• Write clear, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team to understand requirements.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results.
• Report and track defects with proper documentation.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
• Perform UI, functional, and regression testing.
• Ensure high test coverage and continuous quality improvement.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API testing (Postman, Requests, REST Assured)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, Extent Reports)
• Understanding of Git/version control
