Automation Engineer – DeltaV / Foxboro (DCS)

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Automation Engineer specializing in DeltaV and Foxboro Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Based in Cairo, Egypt, the role offers flexibility for some remote work. Daily responsibilities include developing, configuring, and troubleshooting DeltaV and Foxboro DCS systems for various industrial applications. The Automation Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement process control strategies, optimize automation systems, and provide technical support to ensure seamless operations. Documentation, reporting, and training clients staff may also form part of the responsibilities.

• Strong expertise in Process Control and Automation
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems
• Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering principles
• Knowledge of Robotics and applications in industrial settings
• Hands-on experience with DeltaV and Foxboro Distributed Control Systems (DCS) implementation and maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with industrial automation standards and safety protocols
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Experience with MES and SCADA systems is a bonus
• Previous exposure to AI and data analytics in industrial automation is a plus
