Automation Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Project Engineer to manage and execute automation projects from design and planning through installation, programming, testing, commissioning, and handover. The role requires strong technical knowledge, project coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

• Manage and coordinate automation projects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and technical requirements.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate the installation of control panels, sensors, actuators, controllers, and field devices.
• Conduct site surveys and assess site conditions, technical requirements, and installation readiness.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring that activities are completed according to approved schedules and specifications.
• Prepare project documentation, testing and commissioning reports, as-built drawings, and operation & maintenance documentation.
• Ensure that all project activities comply with approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable codes.
• Provide technical support to site teams during installation and commissioning.
• Attend site meetings, technical meetings, and coordination meetings when required.
• Ensure successful project handover and provide technical support during the warranty period.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Control, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in automation projects.
• Good knowledge of automation and control systems.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, DDC.
• Good understanding of control panels, sensors, actuators, communication protocols, and field devices.
• Ability to read and understand electrical/control drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of project documentation and technical submittals.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.
