Role Description
This is a full-time workshop & on-site role for an Automation Technician, based in Dubai, UAE. The Automation Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated control panels and associated electrical accessories. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the efficiency of automated systems. The role also involves collaborating with other team members to optimize system performance and adherence to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience and proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues effectively
- Knowledge of electrical automation systems
- Skilled in electricity and electrical systems
- Experience conducting preventive maintenance for automated equipment
- Strong understanding of automation technologies, with an understanding of mechanical & hydraulic symmetries.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in Marine, Industrial & Mechanical environments or relevant fields is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of GCC experience is essential.
