Automation Tester (Selenium, JAVA)

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to join KVC Consultants Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for both UI and API automation, leveraging your expertise in frameworks like WebDriverIO and Java Selenium. You should possess fundamental testing knowledge, a strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies, and proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, and Groovy for robust testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform UI Automation to ensure seamless user interface functionality and user experience.
• Conduct API Automation for robust integration and backend functionality.
• Apply fundamental testing knowledge, including understanding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using frameworks such as WebDriverIO and Java Selenium.
• Utilize JavaScript and TypeScript for automation scripting.
• Apply programming skills in Java and Python for test automation development.
• Test REST and SOAP APIs effectively to validate web service functionality.
• Work with the scripting language Groovy for automation tasks.

Skills Requirement:

• Hands-on experience in Testing/QA or QE (Quality Engineering).
• Strong knowledge of fundamental testing concepts.
• Proficiency in SDLC and Agile methodology.
• Experience with WebDriverIO and Java Selenium automation frameworks.
• Working experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Programming skills in Java and Python.
• Experience in testing REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with the scripting language Groovy.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
