Job Description

Automation Testing Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute test plans, test strategies, and test cases.
  • Analyze user stories and requirements for testability and feasibility.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver / Selenium Grid or other market-leading tools.
  • Perform UI and API automation testing.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and integration of automated tests.
  • Execute regression, smoke, and automation test suites.
  • Identify, report, and verify defects; perform root cause analysis.
  • Prepare clear test reports and quality metrics.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage.
Required Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing with strong automation exposure.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium or equivalent).
  • Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • ISTQB CTFL certification (mandatory).
  • Experience working with large-scale web applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with API automation.
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
  • Fintech domain experience.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) or BDD.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with mobile test automation.
  • Knowledge of Docker / containers.
  • Exposure to security or penetration testing basics.
