WE ARE HIRING – AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICIAN (RENT A CAR)

Reporting To: Workshop Supervisor / Branch Manager

Salary: AED 3,000 per month

Day Off: 1 day per week

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join our automotive team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicle electrical and electronic systems, preferably in a car rental company or automotive workshop.

The successful candidate will help maintain our rental fleet by ensuring that all vehicle electrical systems are functioning properly, minimizing downtime, and keeping vehicles ready for rental.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic faults.
Inspect and repair wiring, fuses, relays, switches, and electrical connections.
Troubleshoot starting systems, alternators, batteries, and charging systems.
Diagnose and repair lighting systems, power windows, central locking, and other electrical components.
Identify faults using automotive diagnostic tools and scanners.
Inspect and troubleshoot dashboard warning lights and electronic control systems.
Check and repair air conditioning electrical components when required.
Carry out electrical inspections before and after repairs.
Coordinate with the mechanical and fleet teams to prioritize vehicle repairs.
Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs and replaced parts.
Ensure all repairs are completed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

Technical certificate, diploma, or relevant training in Automotive Electrical Systems is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Auto Electrician or Automotive Electrical Technician.
Experience in a car rental company or automotive workshop is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of vehicle wiring diagrams and electrical systems.
Experience using automotive diagnostic scanners and testing equipment.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage repair tasks efficiently.
Responsible attitude and attention to detail.
