Automotive Inspection Engineer
Remote/Onsite - Full time Job
The Automotive Inspection Engineer functions as a member of the Operations Department. Primary responsibilities of the role in the following of accurate and complete documentation of overall vehicle condition within the parameters of the Company s Inspection Protocol.
What You ll Do
- Inspecting passenger vehicles in service center and in remote locations according to planned schedule.
- Follow the inspection protocol as per the company procedures.
- Inspecting machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to
discover functionality issues.
- Reporting required repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to
machine on passenger vehicles.
Desired Candidate Profile
Profile:
BSc. In Automotive / Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of Mechanical experience with European Brands.
Valid driver s license.
Effective communication in English (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required.
Must be detail orientated.
. A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines.
Experience in navigating handheld and other documentation devices.
good physical strength and stamina.
Near vision abilities required to find dings and scratches, paint work, hail damage, frame/unibody, other exterior damage and Interior damage. Able to identify exterior or interior colors.
Ability to engage customers in a consultative manner.
Solid computer skills, including ability to use Internet and MS Office effectively.
Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required.
