Job Title: Product Specialist

Role Scope: Middle East
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for determining and expanding channels for obtaining regulatory information including Market Access regulations, non-Market Access regulations, legal regulations, and policy regulations, within automotive industry in Middle East.
- Responsible for the collection (scanning of official websites, collection from other channels) and dissemination of regulatory information.
- Responsible for interpreting regulations or organizing the interpretation of regulations.
- Responsible for establishing and managing the regulatory database for the assigned market in Middle east.
- Responsible for collecting the access requirements for vehicle model projects in the assigned market.
- Support the homologation work in the assigned market, such as local trials, obtaining local certificates, etc.
- Improve the process from customs clearance to pre-launch registration of vehicles under the jurisdiction of the market, and communicate and coordinate with relevant government agencies.
- Analysis of battery safety monitoring and early warning data on online platforms.
- Product certification and related registration applications in the Middle East region.
- Maintain the early warning and alarm procedures of the battery platform to ensure its stable operation and accurate results.
- Conduct vehicle data analysis based on early warning results, completing the extraction and organization of data features.
- Perform data analysis as required by headquarters and compile and publish weekly reports.
- Ensure all data operations on the platform comply with regulatory requirements.
Qualification/Skills/Experience:
- Over 2 years of experience in regulatory/ certification declaration work/ homologation & compliance within automotive industry in UAE /Middle East
- Proficient in English & Arabic for reading and communication.
- Capable of interpreting professional regulations and accurately expressing technical terminology.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to work and solve problems from a product perspective.
- Meticulous, responsible, and possessing excellent teamwork spirit.
- Chinese communication skills will be an added advantage.
- Strong learning ability and willingness to grow in a cross-cultural environment.
- Knowledge requirements: Familiar with Middle Eastern laws, regulations, and policies; proficient in Middle Eastern vehicle certification declaration processes and operations; maintains good relationships with declaration management agencies and testing institutions; familiar with testing procedures.
- Needs to have a valid UAE Driving License.
