We are seeking a qualified and passionate Automotive Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical instruction in Automotive Technology, preparing students with the technical knowledge and hands-on skills required for careers in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and practical lessons in Automotive Technology.
- Teach automotive systems, including engines, transmission, electrical systems, braking, steering, suspension, and vehicle diagnostics.
- Conduct practical workshop sessions while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Develop lesson plans, practical exercises, assessments, and instructional materials.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students in developing technical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
- Operate and maintain workshop equipment and automotive diagnostic tools.
- Keep up to date with developments in automotive technology, including hybrid and electric vehicles.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate student records and assessment documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and academic excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Teaching qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industry and/or teaching experience in Automotive Technology.

- Experience teaching international or competency-based curricula is an advantage.
