We are looking for a skilled Avionics Test Engineer to join our avionics engineering team developing the next generation of unmanned eVTOL aircraft. In this role, you will manage the System Integration Bench (SIB) and play a critical part in testing, validating, and verifying avionics systems in both lab and ground environments in compliance with civil aviation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the System Integration Bench (SIB) for avionics testing.
- Collaborate with system, hardware, and software teams to define test strategies and requirements.
- Work closely with system designers to prepare and execute test cases and procedures.
- Ensure traceability, validation, and documentation of all test procedures and results.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases in the laboratory environment.
- Deploy automated tests and continuously improve testing efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging avionics technologies and contribute to future system designs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in avionics system design, testing, and laboratory environments.
- Experience managing or working with test benches and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Familiarity with aviation standards (e.g., ARP4754, DO-178, DO-254).
- Experience writing and executing test specifications and procedures.
- Skilled in test execution, bug tracking, and reporting results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent English communication skills.
