AVP / Associate - Global Market Risk and Compliance

Responsibilities

• Identify regulatory changes impacting compliance policies and procedures for global markets. Assess potential risks and suggest compliance controls for effective risk management. Advise and support global market business operations. Document and update compliance policies and procedures while conducting training on new regulations. Serve as the primary contact for internal and external auditors and regulators. Report on the status of market compliance initiatives to the head office. Implement head office rules and controls effectively. Review activities within relevant departments to enhance regulatory compliance and propose actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. For Associate level: At least 3 years of experience in market compliance. For Vice President level: A minimum of 5 years of experience in market compliance. At least 5 years of experience within the financial sector. Deep understanding of market dynamics and global financial markets. Strong knowledge of market trends and developments. Proficient in local and international regulatory frameworks. Experience managing stakeholders and providing advisory support across departments within global markets. Familiarity with global market products and services. Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and implement compliance frameworks and recommendations. Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
