We are seeking a highly motivated Azure Infrastructure Cloud Engineer Intern to join our cloud and DevOps team. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and is ideal for someone passionate about cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and DevOps.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and monitoring Azure cloud resources
- Support day-to-day operations of Azure infrastructure including VMs, virtual networks, storage, and identity services
- Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
- Help implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Participate in troubleshooting issues related to networking, permissions, and resource configurations
- Document configurations, runbooks, and infrastructure changes
- Work closely with DevOps engineers and developers on cloud-based deployments and automation
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity)
- Familiarity with Azure Portal and basic CLI/PowerShell scripting
- Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, firewalls, and VPNs
- Exposure to version control systems like Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or Terraform
- Completed AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) or other Microsoft certifications
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working in lab environments or personal projects on Azure
