Etihad Engineering is seeking B1 Aircraft technicians to perform aircraft maintenance activities, tasks, rectify defects, and support Licensed Aircraft Engineer and as per operational requirements to ensure safety of flight operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
- Ensure maximum attention is given to on-time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling, and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance for the task in hand.
- Maintains a FOD free working area and cleans up bay area before and after work.
- Ensure daily maintenance activities are properly & progressively recorded & signed off.
- Ensure full compliance with all organizational Health and Safety Rules & procedures.
- Ensure support and participation for open reporting culture that aligns with the company ethos.
- Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached.
- Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition or clearly labelled if defective.
- Ensure Continues personal development and increases Aircraft knowledge with goal for further career development.
Education & Experience
- High School leaving Certificate / or Diploma
- Served an apprenticeship with an airline/ approved organization.
- 3 years of experience in Aircraft maintenance including hands-on experience working in Aircraft & Components (specialized in inspections, repairs and component replacement)
