JMC Aviation is currently seeking an experienced B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join an established business aviation operation in the UAE.
We are particularly interested in engineers with strong experience on Bombardier Challenger and/or Global series aircraft, who can take ownership of complex maintenance activities and support the wider engineering team.

JMC Aviation is currently seeking an experienced B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join an established business aviation operation in the UAE.
We are particularly interested in engineers with strong experience on Bombardier Challenger and/or Global series aircraft, who can take ownership of complex maintenance activities and support the wider engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
- Carry out mechanical and airframe maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data, manuals and applicable regulations.
- Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems.
- Carry out complete engine runs as required.
- Complete and accurately document all maintenance activities.
- Supervise Mechanics and ensure maintenance tasks and inspections are completed to the required standard.
- Release maintenance tasks for which you are appropriately trained and authorised, including work carried out under your supervision.
- Sign off applicable base maintenance tasks carried out personally or under your supervision, in support of Category C Certifying Staff.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching and support to other members of the engineering team.
- Carry out maintenance activities at off-site locations when required.
- Assist with providing accurate maintenance time estimates.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and aircraft airworthiness at all times.
- GCAA and/or EASA Part-66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
- Type-rated on relevant Bombardier Business Aircraft, particularly Challenger and/or Global series.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience working on Challenger and/or Global aircraft.
- Proven experience carrying out complex maintenance activities and certifying aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
- Strong mechanical and airframe maintenance experience.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior engineers and mechanics.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the basic requirements of Part-66, including Appendix I.
- Working knowledge of Part-M, Part-145 and other relevant aviation regulations.
- Good understanding and practical application of Human Factors and Human Performance & Limitations.
- Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL, where applicable.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate aircraft and task status.
- Proficient in the use of standard and specialist tooling and ground support equipment.
- Ability to work in accordance with approved maintenance data and identify and report defects or discrepancies requiring rectification.
- Willingness to work shifts, including occasional night shifts where required.
- Flexibility to travel at short notice to support business requirements.
