1. Job Purpose
Drive revenue growth and market penetration for the comapny's B2B travel and hospitality services in Egypt by leading sales strategy, client acquisition, and account management. Build and manage a high-performing sales team that delivers against commercial targets while fostering long-term client relationships and brand trust.
2. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy and Execution
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with company growth targets, market trends, and client needs.
- Monitor sales KPIs (conversion rates, pipeline velocity, revenue per account) and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback.
2. Team Management and Development
- Recruit, train, and coach sales team members to build a high-performing, client-focused culture.
- Set clear sales objectives, territories, and incentive structures to drive accountability and motivation.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and support continuous skill development.
3. Client Acquisition and Account Management
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure alignment with operational capabilities and commercial policies.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Contracting, and Product teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client onboarding.
- Provide market and client insights to inform product development, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
5. Sales Enablement and Technology Adoption
- Leverage CRM tools and sales automation platforms to streamline workflows and improve conversion rates.
- Identify and implement sales enablement resources (pitch decks, case studies, training materials) to support team effectiveness.
6. Market Intelligence and Competitive Positioning
- Track competitor offerings, pricing, and positioning to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent ABC at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
3. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Travel & Tourism, or related field.
- 4+ years experience in B2B sales within travel, hospitality, or tech-enabled services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Strong understanding of travel distribution channels, booking platforms, and client procurement processes.
- Excellent verbal and written English; Arabic language proficiency preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
4. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a B2B travel-tech environment or with GDS/aggregator systems.
- Experience scaling operations in a high-growth business unit.
- Certifications in sales management, negotiation, or digital marketing.
