Back-End Developer

Role Overview:

The Back-End Developer will be responsible for developing, and optimizing back-end

components, databases, and APIs. This position requires expertise in server-side technologies

and databases, particularly within fintech environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop APIs and services for high-availability, low-latency applications.

2. Implement data security and protection measures.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and front-end, to ensure

cohesive system architecture.

4. Optimize application performance, database queries, and server-side processes.

5. Maintain and enhance databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Postgres), ensuring data integrity

and efficiency.

6. Integrate third-party services and libraries as required for project enhancements.

7. Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are upheld.

8. Troubleshoot and debug back-end issues, implementing effective solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of back-end development experience, preferably in fintech industry.

Strong proficiency in languages and frameworks of Node.Js and Typescript.

Experience with databases MySQL, MongoDB and Postgres.

Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable, maintainable code.

Good in API Development.

Preferred skills:

Knowledge in Docker, Kafka and zookeeper tools for scalability and performance.

Knowledge of security measures and best practices, including WAF, FIM, and data

encryption protocols.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub CI/CD).

Database management.
