Back End Developer

About the job:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Backend Developer to become a valuable member of our innovative team. The successful candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of the .NET development environment, including various .NET frameworks and libraries. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record of constructing and maintaining robust, efficient, and scalable backend infrastructure for complex web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, modify, and maintain backend services and APIs using cutting-edge technologies such as .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and other Microsoft platforms.
2. Collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to translate requirements and user stories into functional, high-performing software solutions.
3. Design and implement databases, ensuring they are structured for optimal performance and scalability.
4. Implement secure and reliable RESTful APIs and microservices to support various front-end applications.
5. Conduct thorough code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.
6. Utilize version control systems, such as Git, to manage code efficiently and adhere to CI/CD practices.
7. Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems and applications.
8. Creating comprehensive technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a .NET Developer, with a strong focus on backend development.
3. Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
4. Extensive experience working with SQL Server or other relational databases, including designing and managing database schemas.
5. Proven expertise in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
6. Strong understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.
7. Experience with unit testing and a commitment to test-driven development.
8. Exceptional problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred (but not required):

1. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
2. Familiarity with other backend technologies or programming languages.
3. Understanding of front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
