Job Scope
As a Backend Team Leader at blnk, you will be primarily responsible for managing a team of senior and junior software engineers and will be reporting directly to the Backend Division manager.
- Hiring your team members in coordination with the Backend Division Manager.
- Manage your team in conducting requirements analysis and software design.
- Manage projects and meet deadlines using your team resources.
- Collaborate with other team leaders to coordinate work that overlaps on different fronts.
- Be able to assess your team members capabilities and assign them to the right tasks that they will excel in and be motivated to perform.
- You should have proficient technical skills in the following as a minimum:
- Programming using C++, Python, PHP, and other similar interpreted scripting languages
- Building applications using C++ Framework and Postgres and/or MySQL
- Work with dockers and containers
- Use GIT repositories
- Deploy applications on Linux OS and its stack of frameworks and middleware.
- Some DevOps skills is a plus.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors/master's in computer science or computer engineering.
Certifications in C++, or cloud platforms are a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
Skills
- Strong programming skills as mentioned above.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Good command of Linux OS and basic administration skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead your team.
- Ability to recruit good candidates and motivate them.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver excellent results
