About the Role:

We are looking for a JCB Operator responsible for safely operating excavation machinery to support trenching, pipe installation, backfilling, and site preparation.

Qualifications:

• At least high school graduate or ALS certified.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification (TESDA NCII)
• Minimum 2 years experience in water pipeline or infrastructure construction projects preferred.
• Knowledge of excavation safety and underground utility protection.
• Ability to work in a team and follow site instructions.

Task Description:

• Operate JCB Backhoe Loader safely and efficiently fopr excavation, trenching, backfilling, and loading activities.
• Excavate trenches according to approved drawings, levels, and pipeline alignment.
• Assist pipeline installation teams during laying of water supply pipes, fittings, valves, and chambers.
• Carry out backfillingand levelling works after completion of pipe installation.
• Load and unload construction materials, soil, sand, and debris as required.
• Ensure safe excavation near existing underground utilities and services.
• Perform daily inspection and basic maintenance of the machine, including checking oil, fuel, hydraulic systems, tires, and attachments.
• Report equipment defects, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow instructions from site engineers, supervisors, and safety officers.
• Maintain compliance with project safety regulations and use of proper PPE at all times.
