We are currently seeking a Badge Officer , reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

The Badge Officer is responsible for managing the endtoend process of issuing, renewing, and controlling access badges for employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors. This role ensures compliance with company, client, and site security protocols and supports smooth and secure access to all project facilities. The position requires high attention to detail, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities1. Badge Issuance & Management

  • Process and issue ID badges for employees, subcontractors, and visitors in accordance with approved access levels.
  • Manage badge activation, deactivation, and renewal in the access control system.
  • Coordinate with HR, Admin, and Security teams for new joiner and offboarding badge requirements.
  • Maintain a complete register of all active, expired, lost, and returned badges.

2. Access Control Administration


  • Assign appropriate access privileges based on job role, department, and site security requirements.
  • Monitor access logs to ensure compliance and report irregularities.
  • Support security operations in troubleshooting badge or access issues.
  • Ensure gate pass requirements comply with client / authority protocols (e.g., ADNOC, local authorities, etc.).

3. Compliance & Security Support


  • Ensure badge issuance adheres to company and client HSSE/security policies.
  • Assist during audits by providing timely and accurate badge/access data.
  • Report suspicious access activity or violations to Security Management.
  • Implement procedures for lost, stolen, or damaged badges.

4. Coordination & Communication


  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and contractors regarding badge and access procedures.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and agencies to collect necessary supporting documents for badge activation.
  • Communicate badge policy changes, security requirements, and access rules to stakeholders.

5. Recordkeeping & Reporting


  • Maintain updated badge registers, trackers, and documentation.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on badge statistics and access activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and contractor information.

Qualifications & Experience


  • High school diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 24 years of experience in security administration, access control, or site badge operations (preferably in oil & gas, EPC, construction, or industrial projects).
  • Experience using Access Control Systems (ACS), biometrics, or ID card software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment.

Preferred Skills


  • Familiarity with security procedures of ADNOC or similar authorities.
  • Experience using systems like Lenel, Honeywell, HID, or similar ACS platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of HSSE protocols related to site access.
