Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Bakery Chef who specializes in croissants, tarts, and premium baked products. The ideal candidate should be passionate about baking, have hands-on expertise in laminated dough, and be able to produce high-quality items consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and present high-quality croissants, tarts, and other bakery items.
- Handle laminated dough and ensure perfect texture, layers, and taste.
- Develop and execute new bakery recipes as per menu requirements.
- Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Manage daily production schedules and ensure timely output.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to streamline operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 25 years of experience as a Bakery Chef / Pastry Chef.
- Strong expertise in croissants, tarts, puff pastries, and bakery techniques.
- Knowledge of baking temperatures, dough fermentation, and lamination techniques.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Libya.
