Role Description The Bancassurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for driving insurance sales and service through designated banking partners. The role involves building strong relationships with bank staff, providing product training, and supporting them in identifying customer needs and proposing suitable MetLife solutions. The Bancassurance Specialist will conduct customer meetings at bank branches, explain policy features, prepare proposals, and assist with applications and documentation. Daily tasks include tracking sales performance, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines, coordinating with internal teams on underwriting and policy issuance, and delivering high-quality post-sale service. The role also includes participating in marketing initiatives, branch campaigns, and regular reporting on activity and results to management.

Qualifications

  • Experience in insurance, banking, or financial services, with a strong understanding of life and protection products.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to meet targets through bancassurance or similar distribution channels.
  • Customer-focused mindset, strong relationship management capabilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple branches and client interactions.
  • Knowledge of compliance, regulatory standards, and ethical sales practices in financial services.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., MS Office) and comfort using CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site across Cairo bank branches as needed and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
