Main Purpose Of The Role
Responsible for developing, acquiring, and managing strategic partnerships with banks and financial institutions, with a primary focus on expanding the company's banking network and securing attractive installment programs and financing deals. The role will own the end-to-end partnership cycle, from identifying and acquiring new banking partners to launching, managing, and growing existing bank installment programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the acquisition of banks and financial institutions as strategic partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of potential banking partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks, including Retail, Cards, Consumer Finance, Digital Banking, and Partnerships teams.
- Negotiate and secure competitive installment programs, financing offers, and commercial agreements with banks.
- Manage the end-to-end process of bank installment deals, including commercial negotiation, business requirements, legal agreements, technical integration, testing, launch, and post-launch monitoring.
- Work closely with internal Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal and Compliance teams to ensure successful partnership implementation.
- Develop commercial proposals and business cases for new banking partnerships.
- Monitor the performance of installment programs and identify opportunities to increase transaction volume and revenue.
- Manage existing bank relationships and ensure continuous growth and engagement.
- Negotiate commercial terms, fees, commissions, settlement arrangements, and other partnership conditions.
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and banking products to identify new partnership opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on the banking partnership pipeline, deal status, performance, and revenue contribution.
- Ensure all partnerships comply with applicable regulatory, risk, compliance, and internal requirements.
- Support strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the company's banking ecosystem and payment/financing capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in banking partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Proven experience in acquiring and managing bank partnerships.
- Strong understanding of banking products, cards, consumer finance, installment programs, and payment solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiation and closing partnership deals.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills, particularly with banks and financial institutions.
- Ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of financial and commercial models, including pricing, commissions, fees, revenue-sharing, and profitability.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of the Egyptian banking and fintech ecosystem is highly preferred.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
