We are looking for a
Bar Attendant who will support the bar team by ensuring smooth operations, maintaining cleanliness and stock, and delivering friendly and efficient service to enhance our guests bar experience in line with IHG standards.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different at IHG, but you'll mostly be:
- Assisting bartenders in preparing and serving beverages.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and equipment.
- Restocking bar supplies, garnishes, and beverages to ensure readiness for service.
- Collecting and polishing glassware and utensils.
- Handling guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Supporting with inventory control and reporting shortages to the Bar Supervisor.
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and responsible service of alcohol standards.
- Assisting in setting up and breaking down bar areas for service and events.
- Promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
What we need from you:
- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hotel service role preferred.
- Knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations is an advantage.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work on shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
- Good in English and other languages is an advantage.
