Role Objectives
Our Barista's objective is to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee, adhering to daily SOPs and brand standards. Minimize waste, maintain product freshness, and support initiatives to boost sales, customer loyalty, and operational success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Adhere and act on to the day-to-day activities, checklists and SOPs
- Impress our customers with consistent, welcoming and engaging customer service, taking the opportunity to turn every customer into a regular
- Work within a world-class coffee program using the best coffee equipment and product in the industry to prepare quality coffee
- Complete all training to ensure proper measures are in place to achieve the correct handling of food and beverage to retain its freshness and quality
- Adhere to systems in place to avoid wastage of product with both food and beverage, following and adjusting par levels where needed in line with store standards
- full knowledge and adherence to all product, service and brand training playbooks
- Participates in all initiatives with the operations and marketing teams to increase foot traffic, new customers, daily sales, and operational profitability and develop a loyal customer base.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
- 1-2 Years of experience as a Barista.
- Familiarity with brewing equipment and coffee preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
- Enthusiasm for coffee and creating memorable customer experiences.
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product and service quality.
