Barista Consultant

We are looking for a Part-Time Matcha Consultant to support our brand on a project and on-call basis. The role focuses on training our clients barista teams, developing signature matcha-based beverage menus, and supporting premium matcha activations.

The consultant will create and standardize matcha recipes, train client baristas on matcha preparation, serving techniques, workflow, product knowledge, and presentation standards. The role also includes supporting matcha pop-ups, tastings, live serving, and promotional events.

This position is ideal for a hands-on matcha and beverage specialist who can be called upon when needed to deliver barista training, menu development, quality control, and brand-aligned customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Train clients barista teams on matcha preparation and service standards.
• Develop signature menus fully focused on matcha-based drinks.
• Create standardized recipes, preparation methods, and presentation guidelines.
• Support matcha pop-ups, tastings, events, and live serving activations.
• Advise on ingredients, equipment, stock planning, and quality control.
• Ensure consistency, efficiency, and a premium guest experience.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of matcha preparation and matcha-based beverages.
• Experience in barista training, beverage consulting, or café operations.
• Ability to create creative, commercial, and brand-aligned drink menus.
• Hands-on experience in café service, pop-ups, or beverage events.
• Strong communication, coaching, and client-facing skills.
• Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and service standards.
• English required; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
